Some time ago John asked me to write something about making money with directories. I decided to write what turned out to be a small book focused on directories with IndexU as the focus.
Of course something like this would apply to every directory site out there, regardless of what software you’re using.
I will release the book slowly on the Nicecoder forums in the new Marketing And Promotion forum. Perhaps one chapter every week or two.
I will mention that the book is still somewhat incomplete, mainly in the Google sections as I haven’t had time.
But by releasing it in chapters every week or two this should give me more than a month to finish it up. And if I have to, I’ll pass over the Google sections and post the rest of the book and get back to it later.
I hope you all find it useful and that it gives you some hints and insights as to how to improve your directory and even some things not to do (we all learn by mistakes!)
I’m going to go post a bonus chapter right now on the forum and once the book is complete it will be available here on the blog in PDF format for everyone to enjoy.
