IndexU Support

I recently discovered that Google sitemaps are failing to be accepted.

The issue revolves around the fact that Google wants sitemaps to be in the uppermost directory and all links in the sitemap must be in the same directory or subdirectories.

Since the current sitemap is in /sitemap/, all links are failing.

A report has already been made in regards to this and should be fixed soon. I have also requested that a new release be made to address this issue and would also add bugfixes found in the last two weeks.

IndexU Deluxe v1.30 is a major release and contains the following fixes and updates

- Bugfix – sestat plugin (yahoo links were not being counted)
- Bugfix – handle links in ANSI and UTF-8 format
- Bugfix – added default page rank image if no PR has been fetched yet
- Bugfix – Small fix to Moneybookers payment module

- Addition – Ability to block web sites by their name server domain (to eliminate “parked” web pages from being submitted)
- Addition – New admin panel (really nice looking!)
- Addition – New languages – Portuguese and Danish

Changes were also made to the following items
- Checkurl for bad links
- Discount Coupon Payments
- Select option of category link on add, modify, upgrade
- Plugin class
- new hooks on filter.lib.php

I’ve been busy with manuals again!

I’ve got two new manuals for you.

The first one is titled Installing A New Language File In IndexU Deluxe and since it’s quite obvious what it’s about, I won’t give much of a description.

The second manual is titled Installing An IndexU Plugin and deals with uploading and installing plugins.
